I dreaded getting new carpet, though it was obviously time to, because it seemed such a huge task to move all my belongings including multiple bookshelves. But Lou & Dan & the installers Antonio & Marco made it happen. As Antonio said, "sometimes we make miracles." And they did. The carpet selection is huge at their warehouse & I found a carpet/pad combo that works for me. I think it's a good investment to pay a little more for better quality. I got the 10 lb carpet padding that has a waterproof layer on the top to prevent stains from soaking into the pad. Also got a little better quality carpet & it feels so soft under my feet, it's better than I ever imagined. Very little offgassing.
