AquaBar B felt paper is traditionally used beneath solid and engineered hardwood floors as a separator and cushion layer. It helps reduce minor subfloor irregularities and provides a stable base between the subfloor and the finished flooring.
Each roll covers 500 square feet, so divide your room’s total square footage by 500 to get a baseline roll count. Add roughly 10 to 15 percent to account for overlapping rows and cuts around doorways and walls.
