The HWD30 is intended for use over plywood and OSB subfloors beneath solid hardwood installations. The asphalt saturation gives it some resistance to incidental moisture, though it does not carry a full moisture barrier rating.
Each roll covers 324 square feet over a 36-inch width. Divide your project’s square footage by 324, then round up and add one extra roll to allow for overlaps at seams and cuts along the perimeter.
GeoFelt HWD30 is available for local pickup and delivery and is not sold as a standalone installation. It can be laid as part of a complete hardwood flooring installation performed by our in-house crews.
